Dr Pradip elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), USA (Feb 2012)
Dr Pradip P. – Chief Scientist and Head – TCS Innovation Labs – TRDDC (Process Engineering), Pune – has been elected as a Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), USA. He is among the 66 new members and 10 Foreign Associates elected to the NAE.
Election to the NAE is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer. The Academy membership honors those who have made outstanding contributions to “engineering research, practice, or education, including significant contribution to the engineering literature and to the pioneering of new developing / implementing innovative approaches to engineering education."

TCS wins Golden Peacock Innovation Management Award 2011 (Jan 11)
TCS has been selected as the winner of the "Golden Peacock Innovation Management Award for the year 2011" by the awards Jury, under the Chairmanship of Justice P N Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India & Member, UN Human Rights Commission.
The Golden Peacock Innovation Management Award recognizes organizations for innovative culture in a learning organization and as to how successfully the innovations are being nurtured by the organization.

TCS wins Certificate of Commendation for Significant Achievement for Large Businesses at CII-ITC Sustainability Awards 2010 (Nov 10)
The CII-ITC Sustainability Awards are conferred to Indian businesses that demonstrate excellent performance in the area of Sustainable Development. TCS has won the ‘Certificate of Commendation for Significant Achievement for Large Businesses’ at the CII-ITC Sustainability Awards 2010. Dr. Joy Deshmukh Ranadive, Global Head, CSR received the award on behalf of TCS.
The awards organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-ITC) Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development were announced and presented to the winning organisations by the Chief Guest Pawan Kumar Bansal, Union Minister for Water Resources & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India as part of the fifth Sustainability Summit: Asia 2010, the annual flagship event of the Centre, on 30 November 2010, at a brief ceremony in New Delhi.

Anand Sivasubramaniam, Head,TCS Innovation Labs - Chennai, has been named a 2010 Distinguished Scientist by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) (Oct 10)
Dr. Sivasubramaniam is a Chief Scientist at TCS and heads TCS Innovation Labs, Chennai. He's also a Professor of Computer Science at Pennsylvania State University and has spearheaded several research initiatives on large scale infrastructure management, particularly from the viewpoint of ecological impact.
