TCS Innovation Labs - Hyderabad - Research
Life Sciences
The lab focuses on R&D in the areas of genome analysis, comparative genomics, ADME prediction, genotyping and the use of natural language processing for information extraction from unstructured text. The lab also develops solutions for data integration and analysis in the biological and chemical sciences. These solutions are of vital importance to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agri-biotechnology industries.
e-Security
-
Automated Copyright Notice System - Anti-piracy tools for the movie industry: The ACNS response system is designed to be integrated into an ISP's backend infrastructure to provide, simple, effective, responses to ACNS notices from external entities.
-
Secure client-server communication based on ECC: ECC guarantees the same level of security as traditional asymmetric cryptographic methods such as RSA while making less of a demand on resources; Hyperelliptic Curve Cryptography: They provide a rich source of curves. Considering only elliptic curves is restrictive. The new idea of Weil descent requires more knowledge about hyperelliptic curves.
