TCS Research Scholarship Scheme

Objective

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has established the TCS Research Scholarship Scheme (also called the TCS Research Scholar Programme, or TCS RSP) to enhance the talent base of research in Computing Sciences in the country. TCS has planned to sponsor up to 40 research students in university PhD programs in computer science every year across India, for five years, starting 2010 – 2011 (making it about 200 students in the plan period).

Encourage researching in areas of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems,Information Technology and Software Engineering.

Provide an attractive environment for both the student and Institute to do research in Computing Sciences
