Exploratory work with Computational Research Labs, Pune in the are of Molecular Simulations has been initiated. We will be using Accelrys Material Studio running on "EKA" for solving some of the challenging problems (both technically and computationally). We have just initiated this program and currently we are in the process of freezing the problems to be attempted.

We have also initiated another alliance with Prof. Umesh Waghmare, JNCASR, Bangalore in the area of Density Functional Theory based molecular simulations. Currently the proposal is put up in CTB for voting. This is for one year.
